#3 Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat – Intercontinental Championship Match: WrestleMania III, 1987

The feud had started when Randy Savage attacked Ricky Steamboat while he was greeting his fans. This led to Steamboat being taken to the hospital. The feud lasted six months and ultimately culminated in the Wrestlemania fight.

They met at WrestleMania 3, after Steamboat had challenged Savage for the WWE Intercontinental championship. Both of them tried to surpass each other. Savage tried to hurt Steamboat with the ring bell, but George Steele stopped him from doing that. Steamboat ultimately countered a scoop slam into a small package to pin Randy Savage and thus became the new WWF Intercontinental Champion.

The match lasted nearly 15 minutes, but the fans cheered both men on for displaying some marvellous wrestling while they loved every moment of it.


#2 The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels: WrestleMania XXV, 2009

This match happened at the famous Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. They started the match at a quick pace with both of them striking each other viciously. The Undertakerapplied his signature Hell's Gate and chokeslam while Shawn Michaelsapplied sweet chin music. The fight then moved outside the ring, and at one point, HBK pushed the referee.

Later, The Undertaker executed a chokeslam and Last Ride, while Michaels executed sweet chin music to which The Punisher executed a tombstone piledriver on HBK. Finally, The Undertaker won the match and remained undefeated at Wrestlemania.

This match was awarded 'Match of the Year' at the '2009 WWE Slammy Awards.
