The backstory

The Undertaker is known for being possibly the greatest pure striker in the history of this business. He debuted in WWE around 3 decades ago, and has gone on to become a sure-fire first-ballot future Hall of Famer.

What The Deadman is also known for are his elaborate entrances, which sometimes include lots of pyrotechnics. On one occasion, his attire caught fire while making his way to the ring to compete inside the Elimination Chamber, but he simply removed it quickly, and shrugged off the incident on Live TV, like a pro.

The incident

A rare video has recently resurfaced on social media, showing a fireball blowing off right in front of The Phenom's face during his entrance.

The video seems to be from the mid to late 90s, as The Undertaker is wearing his Attitude Era attire, plus you can see The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels behind the announcing desk.

The disturbing video shows The Undertaker about to enter the ring, but he is suddenly taken aback by the pyro that blows right in front of him. Longtime fans might remember how the end posts to a ring used to fire out pyro during The Undertaker as well as Kane's entrance. This time though, the person who was responsible for it, messed up BIG TIME. This incident could have legitimately ruined The Undertaker's entire career.

One can only imagine what would have happened if the pyro had seriously damaged The Undertaker's face or his eyes.

The aftermath

Although this video was never publicized, it doesn't take a genius to know that the person behind the scenes must have surely been fired for being incredibly irresponsible. The Undertaker, on the other hand, went on to build a legendary career, that is matched by no one in the history of this business.
