WWE History: When The Undertaker tapped out to his opponent while pinning him at the same time

Can you imagine The Dead Man tapping out to a mortal?

Throughout The Undertaker's storied career, we've seen him dominating countless wrestlers inside the squared ring. He has put down many of his opponents with his famous Tombstone Piledriver and The ChokeSlam. But in many of his matches, he has also got the victory by making his opponents tap-out to his vicious Hell's Gate Submission lock.

One of the most common examples of this is his WrestleMania 27 encounter with The Game, Triple H. After having a brutal match with both these wrestlers crossing limits, The Undertaker caught Triple H in his deadly submission lock, that lead to HHH tapping out to The Dead Man.

While The Undertaker has tapped his opponents out, it's very tough to imagine him tapping out to any wrestler. But the fact is, this has happened not once but twice in his storied career.

So let's take a look back at the time when The Dead Man tapped out to a wrestler in the middle of the ring, while also pinning him at the same time.

The actual incidence

This weird spot took place when The Undertaker wrestled Kurt Angle in a match on SmackDown. In the ending moments of the match, The Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle caught Taker in a triangle choke.

The Dead Man tried a lot to escape from the lock but tapped out after some time. But the interesting thing that happened was that The Undertaker pinned Angle at the same time when he tapped out. This confusing finish led to a draw as none of the two wrestlers won the match.

This was the first instance of the Dead Man tapping out to his opponent inside the ring. The second instance came at SummerSlam 2015.

After Brock Lesnar broke The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30, The Undertaker came back to take revenge on him a year later that resulted in a match between the two at SummerSlam 2015.

The ending of this match saw The Phenom tapping out for the second time in his career when Lesnar trapped him in his Kimura Lock. But the Undertaker did not lose the match as the referee never saw him tapping.

The Undertaker tapping out to his opponent is a very rare sight and these two moments will go down in the history books.
