Jim Ross thinks Shinsuke Nakamura could eclipse Brock Lesnar

Nakamura boasts of a distinguished career on New Japan Pro Wrestling

In the latest post on his blog Jrsbarbq, former WWE personality and current NJPW commentator Jim Ross heaped praise on Brock Lesnar, who he described as one of the finest of his generation, while claiming that WWE’s newest recruit Shinsuke Nakamura’s charisma is more than a match for the Beast’s , perreports wrestlinginc.com.

Ross was quoted as saying: "Brock Lesnar is as unique an athlete as I've ever seen in the pro wrestling business and I've been a fan for over 50 years. Lesnar is WWE's most charismatic star only to perhaps be rivaled in the charisma department by the newly signed Nakamura."

Nakamura, who previosly crossed paths with Lesnar during his time with NJPW, once challenged Lesnar for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and recently stated that he wants a rematch with the Beast Incarnate on WWE.

In fact, Nakamura shares a connect with Lesnar in more ways than one, with the Japanese’s proposed move to WWE blocked in 2006 due to NJPW needing to fill the void left by the departure of the Beast.

The 36-year-old boasts of a distinguished career in his homeland and has won the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, five IWGP Intercontinental Championships, as well as scores of other trophies during his time in NJPW.
