WWE/Indie News: Justin Credible crashes indie show in an inebriated state

What's the story?

Justin Credible made a big impression on December 15th for Blitzkrieg Pro but it wasn't in a really good way. The former ECW and WWE star has been dealing with some substance abuse issues and the last reports were that he was clean and sober. Unfortunately what followed was less than encouraging for his sobriety.

In case you didn't know...

Justin Credible is an ECW alum who picked up the ECW Tag Team and World Heavyweight Championship during his run with the company. He made a reputation of extreme performances with an exceptional ring awareness and execution,

He was later a part of the Invasion and Alliance angles on WWE television. But he was released and although he had another very small return angle in 2006, he's been on the indie scene ever since.

The heart of the matter

Unfortunately, the sad tale of "personal demons" have reared their ugly heads once again in a pro wrestling story. Justin Credible recently went to WWE sponsored rehab, and it looked like he was doing better. But new footage that recently surfaced at a recent indie show might tell a different story.

It all went down at Blitzkrieg Pro's show on December 15th. Justin Credible jumped in the ring and asked for a microphone but he was in no state to speak in public. Instead, he spoke without one until the promotion's booker spoke up and called him a "disgrace."

After Credible asked who he was, the booker standing at ringside had a lot to say.

“I’m the guy that’s paying you tonight and asked you not to come here because you reek like booze and you tell everybody that you’re sober. You’re not. And all these people paid to see you and you’re in there glossed over, stumbling everywhere. Get out!”

What's next?

Hopefully, Justin Credible can figure out the keys to success and utilize them. He has a lot of people pulling for him so with proper support and self-determination, we can only hope he will find a way to a better way soon.

Author's take

This kind of video is heartbreaking to watch. For a guy who just made headlines for being sober, Justin Credible looks like he might have relapsed. But anyone in recovery is bound to have slip-ups, so it would be amazing to see Credible with a clearer head once again very soon.
