Rich Swann is back!
Rich Swann is back!

What’s the story?

Earlier this week, former WWE superstar Rich Swann announced his official comeback on the social media and confirmed that he is once again open to Independent bookings and is ready to work on the Indy circuit yet again.

In case you didn’t know…

Following his departure from the WWE in February of 2018, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann took it to his official Twitter handle in order to confirm the news of his retirement from the Pro Wrestling business.

Swann, who seemingly worked for the likes of House of Hardcore, The Crash Lucha Libre and several other notable Indy promotions, noted that he is set to hang up his boots from the Pro Wrestling industry once he is done with all his bookings.

However, earlier this month, Rich Swann made a return to his former promotion CZW and eventually confirmed his inclusion in the BOTB17. Swann’s return to CZW not only marked his return to the promotion but also indicated towards the fact that the former FIP World Heavyweight Champions is now back in the business for good.

The heart of the matter

As aforementioned, Swann’s return to CZW indeed marked his return to Professional Wrestling and earlier this week, the 27-year-old Baltimore native officially confirmed his comeback, as he announced via his official Twitter handle that he is once again open for Independent bookings and interested parties can reach out to him on the social media if they wish to book Swann for their respective promotions.

What’s next?

Now that Rich Swann is finally back in the business, we can certainly expect him to compete for some of the top Indy promotions around the globe.

Author’s Take

Rich Swann is definitely still very young and certainly shouldn’t retire in his 20s. Personally, I’m happy to see him make his return to the business.
