Kevin Owens’ reported weight gain has supposedly made WWE CEO Vince McMahon displeased with him, which – if true – could mean that Owens would have to go through rigorous training to get back into shape again.
Owens’ work ethic has gained critical acclaim from the WWE hierarchy including the franchise’s Executive Vice President of Talent, Triple H, with whom Owens enjoys the support of.
Despite Triple H’s support, Owens will have to put in some extra hours to shed off the extra kilos – if reports of him gaining weight turn out to be true – due to the fact that WWE head honcho Vince McMahon is very strict about his wrestlers maintaining and living up to the look he envisioned for them.
However, Owens is reported to have received no caution from the WWE officials about his extra weight. This isn’t the first time Owens got into trouble about his weight, with the wrestler previously having gained extra weight during his time on Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare.
Despite his weight problem, Owens, whose real name is Kevin Steen, has had quite a good run on WWE, with the wrestler having the titles of WWE Intercontinental Championship and the WWE NXT Championship to his credit.
