Legendary WWE tag team to induct newest member into Hall of Fame

The crazy one gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

It was reported earlier that The Godfather would be inducted into the WWE ‘Hall of Fame’ class of 2016. This is a great honour to the former WWE legend and he spoke to Bleacher Report about his induction. It was noted that JBL along with Ron Simmons, a soon-to-be fellow Hall of Famer and the mentor of The Godfather, would induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame.

When asked about his views on being inducted, The Godfather said he was elated for being inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’. He said that he was so happy and can’t wait to see the fans to thank them. He added that he loved everything the WWE has done for him and appreciated the firm and the fans. He said it was an honour to be inducted into the HOF and he even went ahead and said that he never expected it to happen.

“Brother, that’s for eternity man”, he added.

Speaking about the Attitude Era, The Godfather opined that it was fun, entertaining, a different time and it was all over now. He said that people were a little looser back then and so were the sponsors.

The Godfather thanked Vince McMahon for giving him the opportunity to play the Godfather persona in WWE. The Godfather said that his real life character was so close to the role he played in the WWE. He also added that he never felt like playing some other character. He felt like it was Charles Wright playing Charles Wright and that the people called him ‘The Godfather’. He opined that the clothes, silliness, personality, colourfulness all belonged to him.
