WWE Live Event Results: Moline, Illinois (2/9/17)

WWE was in Moline, Illinois with Smackdown's top stars in action during the show. The event featured Jinder defending his title against Randy Orton in the main event, Charlotte and Naomi taking on Natalya and Tamina, and AJ Styles defending his United States Title in an amazing match against Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin.

Without further ado, here are the full results:

#1 WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship: The Usos [c] vs Breezango vs The New Day

The show started off with a hot triple threat tag team match, as the Usos defended their titles against Breezango and New Day. Xavier Woods was notably absent due to an injury.

The Usos — who have experienced a reversal in fortunes after their heel turn — defeated The New Day and Breezango to retain their crowns.

Result: The Usos defeated Breezango and the New Day to retain their titles

#2 Aiden English vs Tye Dillinger

Aiden English had a match with the 'Perfect 10' Tye Dillinger.

Although Dillinger has had a shaky start to his career on the main roster, he put over Aiden English in a solid match in Moine.

Result: Aiden English defeated Tye Dillinger

#3 Sami Zayn and The Hype Bros vs The Ascension and Eric Rowan

Sami Zayn teamed up with The Hype Bros to take on The Ascension and Eric Rowan.

The fans were more than pleased to see the Hype Bros and Sami Zayn defeat The Ascension and Rowan.

Result: Sami Zayn and The Hype Bros defeated Eric Rowan and The Ascension

#4 WWE United States Championship: AJ Styles [c] vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Baron Corbin

Styles, Nakamura and Corbin had a great triple threat match for the title. The encounter was one of the hottest of the night, as Nakamura and AJ had a chance to face each other in the ring.

AJ won the match and retained his titles. After the match, Nakamura and Styles teased a possible feud down the road.

Result: AJ Styles defeated Baron Corbin and Shinsuke Nakamura

#5 Naomi and Charlotte vs Natalya and Tamina

Naomi and Charlotte took on the Smackdown Women's Champion, Natalya, and Tamina. Charlotte and Naomi were able to pick up a routine win.

Charlotte is back after taking some time off due to her father's illness. Now that Flair's health appears to be improving, it looks like Charlotte is back on the road.

Result: Charlotte and Naomi defeated Tamina and Natalya

#6 Bobby Roode vs Dolph Ziggler

After he announced that he would be returning to Smackdown Live, Ziggler faced Bobby Roode at the Moline Live event. With the rumour suggesting that he is back only to feud with Roode, odds are that the former NXT Champion will go over.

And to nobody's surprise, Bobby Rodde smashed Ziggler and left Moine with a comprehensive victory.

Result: Bobby Roode defeated Dolph Ziggler

#7 WWE Championship: Jinder Mahal [c] vs Randy Orton

The Modern Day Maharaja defended the WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the main event of the evening. Before the event, Jinder Mahal did an interview with QC news where he said:

"He's an incredible performer, 13 times champion. Randy is there to ultimately take the WWE championship away from me. It's my duty to ensure I walk out of Moline the WWE champion."

Mahal successfully defended his crown against Orton because of interference from the Singh Brothers. However, the night didn't end smoothly for the Canadian Superstar as the Viper took out his frustrations on the Singh Brothers after the match.

Result: Jinder Mahal defeated Randy Orton
