The latest WWE Live event, featuring the Smackdown roster, took place on Trenton, New Jersey. It must be noted that the attendance for the show was very low, possibly as it was on the same day as Halloween. The results of the live event are provided below :
1. The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler(c) for the WWE Intercontinental Championship:
A great back and forth contest to start the show. Ziggler got the win after delivering a Superkick to the Miz.
Result : Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship
2. Curt Hawkins and The Vaudevillains vs. The Hype Bros and Apollo Crews:
Fun tag team action, which was won by the ‘babyface’ team. Crews picked up the win for his team.
Result : Apollo Crews and The Hype Bros defeated Curt Hawkins and The Vaudevillains
3. Jack Swagger vs. Tyler Breeze:
The match was short. Swagger got the victory when Breeze submitted to the Patriot Lock.
Result : Jack Swagger defeated Tyler Breeze
4. Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin:
Although the match was short, Corbin had a dominating performance. End of Days on Kalisto helped him to pick up the victory.
Result: Baron Corbin defeated Kalisto
5. Randy Orton vs. Kane [Street Fight]:
The hard-hitting bout went in the favour of Orton after an interference from Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper.
Result : Randy Orton defeated Kane
6. Becky Lynch and Naomi vs Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Natalya [2 on 3 Handicap Match]:
A decent match was put up the women of the blue brand. Lynch picked up the win for her team after Natalya tapped out to the Dis-arm-her.
Result : Becky Lynch and Naomi defeated Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Natalya
7. American Alpha vs The Usos vs Heath Slater and Rhyno(c) for the Smackdown Tag team Championship:
The contest was satisfactory. Heath Slater and Rhyno Gored their way to victory.
Result : Heath Slater and Rhyno retained the Smackdown Tag team Championship over The Usos and American Alphas
8. AJ Styles(c) vs Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Championship:
Perhaps, the best match of the night. Afterwards, Styles tried to continue the beat down on Ambrose but ended up receiving a Dirty Deeds.
Result : AJ Styles defeated Dean Ambrose to retain the WWE World Championship
Points to note :
– Apparently, WWE is continuing with the storyline between Randy Orton and the Wyatt Family even in live events.
– It was another event that runs along with RAW and recorded low attendance.
– The entire show had several hilarious spots
