WWE will host a Live Event in Madison Square Garden, new York on the 25th of March. The event is officially called “Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night”, with the recently retired Superstar being honoured there.
The card for the evening looks to do justice do the stature of the event, with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H teaming up with Sheamus to face the team of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
The main and co-main event were originally supposed to be Roman Reigns vs Sheamus with Triple H in the latter’s corner and Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens in a 30-minute Iron Man match, according to wrestlinginc.
These are the other matches scheduled for the event:
– AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens (as yet unknown if the Intercontinental Championship is on the line)
– Alberto Del Rio vs Kalisto (as yet unknown if the United States Championship is on the line)
– Big Show vs Bray Wyatt
– Other appearances by WWE Tag Team champions New Day, the Usos, the Dudley Boyz, Ric Flair, Rusev, The Miz, Ryback and the Wyatt family.
Kevin Owens has been teasing a feud with AJ Styles, so it bears speculating if this is a one-off match, considering its proximity to WrestleMania or if it’s leading to something in Dallas.
