WWE is currently on their United Kingdom tour and has already held successful shows in cities such as Glasgow, London, and Dublin as well. But, last night, the Smackdown Live roster were in Scotland as the blue brand of WWE put up a show for the Aberdeen crowd.

Smackdown’s top superstars featured on the card last night, such as the likes of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Becky Lynch, and much more. The Aberdeen crowd also got a closer look at WWE’s top UK stars, in the form of current UK Champion Pete Dunne and Scotland’s own Wolfgang.


#1 The Usos vs The New Day vs Aiden English & Rusev- (Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships)

Jey and Jimmy had a tough task on the night in Aberdeen, as The Usos found themselves in a triple threat tag team match with their championships on the line.

However, The Usos managed to walk out of Scotland as the tag team champions after a solid match between all the three teams that saw Jimmy & Jey reign supreme and retain their belts.

Result: Usos def. New Day and Aiden English


#2 Bobby Roode vs Dolph Ziggler

Both Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler have been feuding on Smackdown Live for quite a while now. Earlier this week, the two men faced each other in a two-out-of-three falls match that saw Roode pick up the win over “The Showoff”.

Much like Tuesday, Aberdeen was no different as “The Glorious One” was once again victorious via The Glorious DDT, this time in front of the Scottish crowd.

Result: Bobby Roode def. Dolph Ziggler

#3 Pete Dunne vs Wolfgang- (WWE UK Championship)

The Aberdeen crowd also got a closer look at “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne, who defended his WWE UK Title against crowd favourite Wolfgang.

Despite being massively popular with the WWE Universe in Scotland, Wolfgang was unable to dethrone Pete Dunne who managed to get the victory on the night and once again retain his title.

Result: Pete Dunne def. Wolfgang


#4 The Bludgeon Brothers & The Ascension vs The Colons & Breezango

The Bludgeon Brothers recently made their WWE debut at a house show in Dublin, Ireland and they were once again in action on the night, as they teamed up with Viktor and Konnor in Aberdeen.

The four teams faced off in a massive eight-man tag team match that saw the team of Harper, Rowan, Viktor, and Konnor reign victorious as The Bludgeon Brothers picked up the victory for their side.

Result: Bludgeon Brothers and Ascension def. Breezango and Colons

#5 Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kevin Owens

Both Nakamura and Owens faced each other earlier in the week on Smackdown Live, in a match that saw Nakamura defeat Owens via the Kinsasha.

Nakamura once again came out on top when the two men locked horns last night in Aberdeen as “The Artist” managed to defeat Owens for the second time in the same week.

Result: Shinsuke Nakamura def. Kevin Owens


#6 Naomi, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte vs Natalya, Tamina, Carmella, and Lana

The team of Becky, Naomi, and Charlotte were in handicap tag team match in Aberdeen as they faced off against the team of the SD Live Women’s Champion Natalya, Tamina, Lana and Ms Money in the Bank, Carmella.

Despite the odds being against Becky and company, they managed to get the win in Scotland and will now turn their focus towards the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Result: Becky Lynch, Naomi and Charlotte Flair def. Lana, Tamina, Carmella and Natalya

#7 Baron Corbin vs Sin Cara vs Sami Zayn (WWE United States Championship)

During the second triple threat match on the night, current WWE US Champion Baron Corbin defended his title against the masked luchador Sin Cara and Sami Zayn.

Corbin had has a tough time in dealing with Sin Cara in these past few weeks but, last night in Aberdeen, he was successful in retaining his title against both Sin Cara and Sami Zayn.

Result: Baron Corbin def. Sin Cara and Sami Zayn


#8 AJ Styles vs Jinder Mahal

AJ Styles and Jinder Mahal have been in a really intense feud over these past few weeks. With Mahal set to defend his WWE Title against “The Phenomenal One” this coming Tuesday, the two men went toe-to-toe with each in Aberdeen in a non-title match.

AJ Styles managed to defeat “The Modern Day Maharaja” on the night and gained a major boost heading towards their title match this Tuesday on Smackdown Live.
