Roman Reigns and Triple H met in the main event Friday in Abu Dhabi

The Monday Night Raw roster returned to the Zayed Sports City Tennis Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE on Friday evening for another WWE Live event that featured Triple H taking on Roman Reigns for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

The night before in Abu Dhabi was a landmark evening as for the first time ever, there was a WWE women's match in the United Arab Emirates when Alexa Bliss defended her WWE Raw Women's Championship against Sasha Banks. Check out Thursday's results at this link.

Speaking of last night's event, the main event was The Shield against Samoa Joe and The Bar. After the match, Triple H confronted Roman Reigns while the other Shield members were still in the ring to set up the main event of tonight's show.

In addition to the main event, there were five other matches on the card including two other title matches, a battle of former NXT Champions, and much more.

Speaking of those former NXT Champions, they kicked off the second night in Abu Dhabi...

#1 Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor

The first match of the evening saw an old feud reignited between two former NXT Champions Finn Balor and Samoa Joe.

The night before in Abu Dhabi, Finn Balor was able to defeat Bray Wyatt while Samoa Joe was on the losing end of the main event against The Shield.

Unfortunately for Joe, the losing ways in Abu Dhabi continued, and Finn Balor picked up the victory for a second straight evening.

Result: Finn Balor defeated Samoa Joe

#2 Jason Jordan vs. Bo Dallas

The second contest of the evening saw Kurt Angle's biological son Jason Jordan take on Bo Dallas of The Miztourage.

Jordan defeated an old nemesis the night before in the guitar-playing former drifter, Elias; while Dallas teamed with his Miztourage partner Curtis Axel losing in a tag team triple threat match against Gallows & Anderson and the winners of the match, Titus Worldwide.

On Friday night, Jordan continued the momentum, getting his second win in as many nights.

Result: Jason Jordan defeated Bo Dallas

#3 Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

Next up was the first of three title matches on the evening as Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins took on Sheamus and Cesaro inside a steel cage. This has been one of the most intense feuds on the Raw brand as of late.

These two teams met for the championship on this week's edition of Monday Night Raw, but The Bar escaped with the victory thanks to the help of Samoa Joe.

Cesaro and Sheamus lost those tag team titles to Ambrose and Rollins at SummerSlam, but regained them in Manchester, England in November for their third reign with the titles. You could tell with Joe's interference on Monday that this feud was far from over, and that was evident in this steel cage match.

Unfortunately, on this night, The Shield were not going to all hold gold as The Bar was able to escape with a win.

Result: Sheamus & Cesaro defeated Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins to retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

#4 Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Next up was two-thirds of the tag team triple threat from the night before when Titus Worldwide (Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews) took on Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson.

While Anderson and Gallows are former tag team champions, both teams here have been in limbo as of late on Monday Night Raw, but fortunes may be changing for Titus Worldwide as they picked up their second win in a row on this overseas tour.

If only the WWE was permanently in Abu Dhabi, Titus Worldwide's stock would skyrocket.

Result: Titus Worldwide defeated Anderson & Gallows

#5 Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Before this match, Elias would come to the ring and grace Abu Dhabi with a concert. One can assume he ripped the WWE Universe in the UAE because that's what Elias does best.

Following the concert, we had our second title match of the night when Enzo Amore defended his WWE Cruiserweight Championship for the second straight evening against Kalisto.

Even though Kalisto gave his best shot, and Enzo's Zo Train was halfway across the globe back in the United States, Amore was able to leave the UAE with his precious title.

Result: Enzo Amore defeated Kalisto to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

#6 Roman Reigns vs. Triple H for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

The main event of the evening saw the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Roman Reigns, defending his championship against "The Game" Triple H. The last time Triple H held this title was WAY back in October of 2002 when he defeated Kane at No Mercy.

Roman Reigns joined his Shield brethren the night before in Abu Dhabi to defeat The Bar and Samoa Joe, and afterwards Triple H confronted Reigns ahead of this match.

In the main event, "The Big Dog" Roman Reigns was able to retain his title when he defeated Triple H, and after the match, The Bar and Samoa Joe would attack Reigns. In an interesting twist, Triple H saved Reigns along with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as you can see below.
