AJ Styles made another successful WWE TItle defence on the night

The Smackdown Live superstars landed in La Crosse, Wisconsin last night ahead of the upcoming brand exclusive Fastlane pay-per-view, which takes place this Sunday at the Nationwide Arena, in Columbus, Ohio, in the United States.

WWE Champion AJ Styles, who main-evented in a fatal four-way match last night, was part of a solid line-up along with the likes of Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, US Champion Bobby Roode, Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions The Usos, Shinsuke Nakamura and a lot more.

#1 Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Naomi vs Carmella, Natalya, and Lana vs Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan (The Riott Squad)

We kicked off things in La Crosse with a six-woman tag team match, featuring nine of Smackdown Live’s very best from the women’s division.

This match went on for a while, however, there was nothing special to note from the entire contest rather than the fast pace of the bout. Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair stood out as one of the best performers on the night and her along with Becky Lynch and Naomi eventually earned the win for themselves.

Result: Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Naomi def. Carmella, Natalya, and Lana and The Riott Squad

#2 Jinder Mahal vs Sin Cara

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal set the record straight with his dominant performance at La Crosse on Monday evening. “The Modern Day Maharaja”, who has been on a quest to once again capture championship gold around his waist, absolutely dominated over Sin Cara last night and finished off the masked luchador within just minutes after the start to their match.

Result: Jinder Mahal def. Sin Cara

#3 Mojo Rawley and Bludgeon Brothers vs Breezango and Tye Dillinger

This match was another relatively short contest, where the duo of Harper and Rowan stood out as the most dominant looking performers. Mojo Rawley, who was hoping to put on an impressive show on the evening, never had the chance of tagging in and eventually got knocked out by the Bludgeon Brothers after their team picked up the win.

Result: Mojo Rawley and Bludgeon Brothers def. Breezango and Tye Dillinger

#4 Randy Orton vs Bobby Roode

Next up, we had the chance to witness a preview of things to come at the upcoming Fastlane pay-per-view. Orton received a huge ovation in the evening, meanwhile, Roode, who came out as the aggressor in the match, was also hugely over as well.

However, there was a very disrupt ending to the match as “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal interfered to cause a disqualification, which led to a victory for Randy Orton. “The Viper” then decided to dish out RKO’s on both Roode and Mahal after the match.

Result: Randy Orton def. Bobby via DQ

#5 The Usos vs New Day vs Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin vs Rusev and Aiden English- (Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship)

A rather comedic match on the cards, featuring four of the very best and talented tag teams on the blue brand. Both Rusev and The Usos got a great reception from the crowd and Jimmy and Jey eventually picked up the win after a double superkick on Shelton Benjamin for the win as they retained their tag team titles.

Result: The Usos def. New Day, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin, and Rusev and Aiden English to retain the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships

#6 Shinsuke Nakamura vs Dolph Ziggler

A solid co-main event of the evening, as two of SmackDown’s most hard-working superstars featured in a brilliant one-on-one bout. Both men started the bout in a rather slow manner, however, things got fast and hectic in the closing stages of the bout as “The King of Strong Style” picked up a huge win after putting away Ziggler in tremendous fashion.

Result: Shinsuke Nakamura def. Dolph Ziggler

#7 AJ Styles vs Baron Corbin vs Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens- (WWE Championship)

AJ Styles, who is currently on schedule to defend the WWE Title in a six-pack challenge at Fastlane, had the uphill task of overcoming the challenge of Baron Corbin and the duo of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a night filled with action in Wisconsin.

Despite the numbers not being in his favor, “The Phenomenal One” somehow managed to successfully walk out with his WWE Title as he defeated Zayn, Owens, and Corbin in an astounding fatal-four way match.

Result: AJ Styles def. Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens to retain the WWE Title
