Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns rocked Melbourne in the main event...

The Monday Night Raw brand continued their push towards No Mercy as they continued their tour overseas on September 14th with a show in Melbourne, Australia.

There were eight matches on the card including a battle royal, three championship matches, and a street fight. The Cruiserweight Championship, the Raw Women's Championship, and the Intercontinental Championship were all up for grabs at this WWE Live event.

Melbourne was also treated to a special appearance by Raw General Manager Kurt Angle. It was his first WWE appearance in the country in over a decade.

Here are the results of this WWE Live event courtesy of PWInsider.

#1 Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for The Miz's WWE Intercontinental Championship

The night in Melbourne kicked off with several WWE Superstars coming to the ring for a chance to face The Miz later that night for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

As you can see in the photo above, nearly a dozen competitors entered the ring for their shot at The Miz. Some of those superstars included Dean Ambrose, Goldust, Rhyno, Heath Slater, Titus O'Neil, and R-Truth.

The last man standing in this match was Jason Jordan. Even though he wasn't able to come out on top during his tough tests against Finn Balor, John Cena, and Roman Reigns, he was able to take what he learned from those matches and apply it for a chance at The Miz later in the night.

Result: Jason Jordan won the match and earned an opportunity to face The Miz for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

#2 Neville vs. Enzo Amore vs. Akira Tozawa — Triple Threat for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

The King Of The Cruiserweights, Neville, defended his championship against two competitors from 205 Live in the second match of the evening. One man, he's feuded with quite a bit in the past in Akira Tozawa; while the other man is new to the division and current #1 contender, Enzo Amore.

The babyface Enzo Amore has raised some eyebrows since his debut of 205 Live as he has cheated to win. His recent Fatal-5-Way for a chance at Neville next weekend at No Mercy was no exception.

No amount of cheating could help Enzo on this night though as Neville was able to outlast both opponents and leave Melbourne with his coveted WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Result: Neville defeated Enzo Amore and Akira Tozawa to retain the Cruiserweight Championship

#3 The Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus and Cesaro

Two Monday Night Raw tag teams clashed in the third match of the night as Matt and Jeff Hardy took on Sheamus and Cesaro (the current #1 contenders for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships held by Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins).

As you can see in the tweet above, it was a real treat for the fans in Melbourne to see the Hardy's compete in a WWE ring.

The Bar couldn't gain momentum for their tag title rematch on this night though as The Hardy Boyz were victorious in what was, no doubt, a WONDERFUL celebration for Matt and Jeff.

Result: The Hardy Boyz defeated Sheamus and Cesaro

#4 Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

One of the longest rivalries on Monday Night Raw is the one between Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt. They will clash at No Mercy on September 24th in what could be the final encounter between these two men.

Wyatt claims that Balor cannot defeat him without the Demon, and Finn accepted that challenge. Before No Mercy, they clashed in Australia in front of a crowd very excited for both wrestlers. Check out the tweet below of the Fireflies:

If Wyatt thinks he can conquer Balor at No Mercy, he will need a different gameplan as it was the Irishman that came out on top to the delight of the Aussies.

Result: Finn Balor defeated Bray Wyatt

#5 Fatal-5-Way for the WWE Raw Women's Championship (Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax vs. Mickie James vs. Sasha Banks vs. Emma)

The women's title was up for grabs at the WWE Live event in Melbourne as Alexa Bliss defended her championship against four other women. On this particular night, however, it wasn't the champion, Bliss, who garnered the most attention; it was the homecoming of Australia's own Emma that the crowd were most interested in.

This match was a great tune-up for the champion, Bliss, who escaped Australia with the title.

Result: Alexa Bliss defeated Emma, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Mickie James to retain the WWE Raw Women's Championship

#6 Jason Jordan vs. The Miz for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

After fa
After facing three tough tests in Balor, Reigns, and Cena, is Jason Jordan ready for a shot at The Miz?

After defeating several other WWE Superstars in a battle royal to kick off the night, Jason Jordan earned a shot at The Miz for a chance to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Jason Jordan would get the upper hand on The Miz and it seemed like he could take the title from the Ohio native, but The Miztourage came in and caused the disqualification. R-Truth and Dean Ambrose would rush to the ring and make the save, which would lead to the next match.

Result: Jason Jordan defeated The Miz via DQ; The Miz retained the WWE Intercontinental Championship

#7 Jason Jordan, Dean Ambrose, & R-Truth vs. The Miz, Curtis Axel, & Bo Dallas

After saving Jason Jordan from The Miz and Miztourage, a six-man tag match started.

Even though Jordan didn't leave Australia with the WWE Intercontinental Championship, he did get a measure of revenge on The Miz and The Miztourage as his team left with the victory.

Result: Jason Jordan, Dean Ambrose and R-Truth defeated The Miz, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas

#8 Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns — Melbourne Street Fight

The main event in Melbourne featured one of the best feuds of 2017 as Roman Reigns took on Braun Strowman in a Melbourne Street Fight to close the night.

They used everything but the kitchen sink in this matchup including tables and steel steps. One member of the WWE Universe sent the following tweet worried about Roman's well-being:

Roman Reigns would end up victorious in the end as both now focus on big matchups at No Mercy in a little over a week. Reigns will take on John Cena, while Strowman faces Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.

Result: Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman
