Last night’s WWE Main Event featured an interesting array of matches

Last night’s WWE Main Event took place from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The night featured matches between The Prime Time Players and The Ascencion, while we also take a look back at Zack Ryder’s futile attempt in winning the United States Championship. We also take a look at what led to the Lunatic Fringe becoming the Fugitive Fringe. Zack Ryder also had a good night out with Heath Slater, meanwhile Bo Dallas tries to get inside Neville’s mind, but fails miserably. The announcers are Rich Brennan and John Layfield. Here are the highlights:

Match 1: The Prime Time Players vs The Ascencion 

Viktor and Konnor gets into the act immediately as the bell rings. They start focusing on Titus, having already sent Young down the floor. Titus shifts the momentum their way and tag in Young. Darren is caught unawares by a gourdbuster. Viktor hits Darren with a clothesline and an elbow drop, goes for a near fall. Titus gets into his own after tagging himself in knocks Viktor off the apron and he connects with a boot and splash to Konnor followed by a power slam for a near fall. Young sends Viktor to the floor but Konnor knocks Young off the apron. Titus with Clash of the Titus for the three count.

Winners: The Prime Time Players

We take a look at Zack Ryder’s attempt to become the United States Champion at the final Raw in Uniondale, but he came up short. Cena was attacked after the match by Kevin Owens.

Match 2: Zack Ryder vs Heath Slater

Slater gets the upper hand on Ryder with a punch and a kick on Ryder. He gets warned by the referee and that allows Ryder to capitalise as he punches back, but Slater pushes him into the corner. Ryder clotheslines Slater over the top rope to the floor and hits a baseball slide that sends Slater into the ringside barrier. Slater clotheslines Ryder over the top rope to the apron.

Ryder with a punch but Slater with a knee. Ryder with a face plant and he goes to the corner. Slater charges into knees and Ryder goes to the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick. Ryder with a running forearm into the corner and then he sets for the Broski Boot. Ryder hits the Broski Boot and he gets a near fall. Ryder sets for the Rough Ryder but Slater sends Ryder into the turnbuckles and Slater with a neck breaker for a near fall.Slater with a suplex but Ryder lands on his feet. Ryder with a boot to Slater followed by the Rough Ryder for the three count.

Winner: Zack Ryder.

Match 3: Summer Rae vs Nikki Bella (and Brie Bella) in a Non Title match

They lock up and Nikki with an arm drag but Summer goes to the apron and pulls Nikki down by her hair. Summer kicks Nikki to get a near fall. Summer tries a spinning heel kick which is blocked by Nikki and she is sent face first to the mat. Nikki gives a Shock Treatment to pick up the win.

Winner: Nikki Bella

We look back at what happened when the Lunatic Fringe became the Fugitive Fringe on Raw, but was still able to sign the contract to make his match on Sunday against Seth Rollins.

Bo Dallas makes his way to the ringside area to join John and Rich on commentary for the next match.

Adam Rose cuts a promo and says that you just don’t get it. You never did, you never have, and you never will. Rose says he offered you the Exotic Express. He offered you ‘It’s Party Time . . . All The Time’. He even offered his own Rosebuds, but you just didn’t get it. Adam says he blames himself because he was offering you high art. You were all just too . . . stupid.

Now it is all gone. It’s all gone and it’s all your fault. Rose says he doesn’t need you Neanderthals any more because he has his Rosa. Adam says that Rosa is a masterpiece. She is his muse and his inspiration. He says that Rosa gets him.

Match 4: Neville vs Adam Rose (with Rosa Mendes)

Rose straightaway goes for Neville’s legs backing him down the corner, which Neville eventually gets out of. Rose again goes for the legs but Neville backslides and goes for a fall Neville with an arm bar. Rose with a single leg take down but Neville kicks Rose to the floor. Rose gets back on the apron and Neville with a drop kick to send him to the floor. Neville with a corkscrew plancha onto Rose.

Neville with an O’Connor Roll and bridge for a near fall. Neville with an enzuigiri and Rose is down. Neville goes up top for the Red Arrow, despite having trouble staying on his feet. Bo gets away from the announce table and Neville kicks Bo off the apron. Rose with a rollup for a near fall.Neville is sent to the apron and he hits an enzuigiri. Neville goes up top for the Red Arrow and he hits it for the three count.

Winner: Neville

After the match, Dallas tries to play dirty by interfering but he runs into a boot. Neville leaps over Bo and  backdrops Bo to the floor.
