Major update on Brock Lensar's Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 32 plans

Will this doctored image come to reality in the weeks to come?

Brock Lensar’s absence has given rise to speculations about his impending return and as reported earlier, WWE officials are possibly leaving the door open for a Lesnar vs Kevin Owens encounter at WrestleMania 32.

According to latest reports coming in from sources backstage, the rumors surrounding the possible match are just speculations and there is nothing more to it. PWInsisder, though, noted that the dream match could still end up featuring on the WrestleMania 32 card.

As far as Lesnar’ return is concerned, WWE has booked Lesnar for a Royal Rumble return on January 24th. At the moment, though, Lesnar is not advertised by the WWE for the Rumble – which could happen in the weeks to come.

It could also be the case in which WWE keeps the return under wraps and surprises the WWE Universe at the day of the pay-per-view.

The Beast without a doubt is a major player in WWE’s plans leading up to WrestleMania and expect WWE to involve him in the regular bouts of programming leading up to the event in Dallas.

The current speculations do point out at an Owens-Lesnar showdown at the show of shows – which is exactly what the WWE should book. There are many reasons that validate the match.

First of all, booking a match between two IWC favourites guarantees WWE a breather when it comes to the criticism they have been garnering. Secondly, the match is as novel as it comes that involves two wrestlers who can put on hard-hitting a classic.

The promos between Heyman and Owens is sure to be pure gold. This feud could be the moment Owens announces himself as the real deal on the grandest stage of them all.

The criticism that this match-up has been getting, though, is that Owens is still not built strongly enough to go toe to toe against the Beast, but the talent and potential that Owens has contradicts those claims.

Owens has always counted Lesnar as his dream opponent in countless interviews and has even shared the fact that he named his dog Brock. WWE has a promising feud at hand if they wish to go ahead with it. Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
