Michael Cole has added responsibility, former TNA Champion returns to NXT and more

Is Michael Cole’s star on the rise?

– Michael Cole is a veteran of sorts in the WWE business. Cole has been with the company since 1997, first as a ring announcer and then as a colour commentator.

Michael Cole is a long serving member of the WWE fraternity and has been given new responsibility for his long term commitment. Michael Cole has been appointed as the General Manager of NXT until William Regal is fit to appear on the show.

William Regal had to undergo a second neck surgery which was a corrective surgery. Cole looks to fill the place vacated by Regal till he returns back. Regal looks to make a return soon and will be the General Manager of NXT when they tour the United Kingdom and at Takeover, London.

Michael Cole is set to officiate the contract signing between Samoa Joe and current NXT Champion Finn Balor for the NXT Championship. This is the exact reason why he was chosen to officiate the contract signing between Paige and Charlotte for the Divas Title.

– Jesse Sorenson who was a wrestler in TNA was seen taping for WWE NXT at Full Sail University Studios. Sorenson is set to face Apollo Crews who is feuding with Baron Corbin currently. Sorenson has also appeared on NXT before when he lost to Baron Corbin some months back.

– Leva Bates, better known as Blue Pants has been off TV for some time. It was reported that Bates received a lot of heat backstage due to her arrogance towards the NXT Women’s Division.

Bates who is extremely over with the fans was brought on to put talent over which she did, ill acted towards some of the Divas for being too over with the fans. Bates was also caught drunk and was involved in an incident during the Summerslam weekend.

All this looks to have been put aside as Bates was seen during the tapings of NXT.

– James Storm, who made a one-off appearance in NXT, is also set to make another appearance. Storm has been working with TNA for most of his career. He is not yet contracted by the WWE, but fans speculate that Storm will be given a contract similar to Rhyno.

He is set to appear in a match against Adam Rose on the December 2nd episode.
