Fabulous Truth (Carmella & R-Truth) vs Awe-Ska (The Miz & Asuka)

Awe-Ska looked to continue their dominance in the Mixed Match Challenge tonight

Carmella & Truth came out first, performing Truth's iconic theme song. Asuka and The Miz followed, decked out in matching gear and glasses.

A "Truth TV" chant visibly upset The Miz, who berated the crowd for enjoying Truth's show earlier in the evening.

Asuka and Carmella began the matchup. Mella earned multiple victories over Asuka during her title reign earlier in the year and looked to continue her dominance over the Empress of Tomorrow.

Before they could begin, a jealous Miz tagged himself in, keeping the attending audience from watching Asuka in action. Truth tossed Miz around the ring with multiple arm drags, surprising the Awesome One. The Miz attempted an eye poke, but Truth caught it Three Stooges Style, before catching Miz with a hip toss.

Truth & Mella then began dancing in the ring, only for Asuka to join them, again upsetting The Miz. The Miz challenged Carmella to a moonwalking contest, before being hit with a crescent kick from Truth.

Asuka tried to get the upper hand on Carmella, but she tossed Asuka out. Truth and Mella teased a double dive to the outside before moonwalking to the middle of the ring, following up with a pair of splits.

Asuka called The Miz a coward, before the former Intercontinental Champion ran from R-Truth, finally getting an upper hand when Truth got back inside the ring.

Miz took out a seated Truth with a boot to the face, then teased a tag to Asuka before going back to work on Truth, frustrating the crowd. Truth fought out of a headlock, jacking Miz's jaw with a vicious punch, but the A-Lister launched Truth into the corner, followed by his patented corner clothesline.

Truth countered a diving clothesline with another punch, as both Truth and Miz worked towards their partners. Asuka and Mella were tagged in, and Asuka finally unleashed on the former Women's Champion.

Asuka landed multiple strikes, finishing off with a running hip attack, almost picking up the win. Asuka missed a dropkick, but The Miz pulled her out of harm's way, causing Carmella to crash hard in the corner.

Asuka attempted the Asuka Lock, but Mella countered, slapping the Empress before connecting with a superkick.

Miz pulled her off, breaking up the pin. After some shenanigans, Carmella's superkick to Miz would be the Fabulous Truth's undoing, allowing Asuka to lock in the Asuka Lock.

Results: Awe-Ska defeated Fabulous Truth via submission.

Next week's Smackdown matchup will feature Ravishing Rusev Day (Rusev & Lana) vs Day One Glow (Jimmy Uso & Naomi)
