#2 Shane hasn't won a singles feud since his return
Since his return, Shane fought a lot of marquee matches against the likes of Undertaker, AJ Styles, and others but he failed to win even a single feud against any of them.
The only feud he won was against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn when he joined hands with Daniel Bryan to take on the duo. The feud in itself was a win for Daniel Bryan rather than Shane McMahon.
The only other significant win Shane racked up was the Crown Jewel's "Best in the World" tournament in which he joined in only in the last few minutes of the tournament. Thus, it doesn't qualify as a feud win.
A feud against the Miz was the best shot for Shane to score a feud victory as wins and losses don't affect the Miz.
