Kofi Kingston will put his WWE Title on the line against Kevin Owens at Money in the Bank. Kingston defended the most coveted prize of the blue brand twice after winning it at WrestleMania 35. The New Day member put his title on the line on RAW and SmackDown Live last week.

Kevin Owens joined New Day a couple of weeks ago when Big E got injured. Interestingly, it took him just one week to turn on Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Owens is undoubtedly a spectacular heel and he has managed to rejuvenate his character after reverting to a bad guy.

Kevin Owens and Kofi Kingston had a brawl this week but the former got the upper hand. Sami Zayn, who is the best friend of Owens, showed up on SmackDown Live through the Wild Card Rule this week. Owens and Zayn stood tall after taking down Woods and Kingston.

Following a victory on RAW this week, Zayn will be part of the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match. It will be interesting to see if Zayn manages to grab the briefcase. Judging by the scenario on SmackDown Live this week, Zayn has a possibility to get involved in the WWE Championship match. The former NXT Champion might help Owens to grab his maiden WWE World Title at XL Center.
