Rey Mysterio is now WWE's 21st Grand Slam Champion

Rey Mysterio successfully challenged Samoa Joe for the United States Championship last night at Money in the Bank and it was a match that interestingl didn't need any kind of interference from his son. Mysterio defeated Joe in a matter of minutes, despite Joe's shoulder being off the mat and is now WWE's 21st Grand Slam Champion.

Mysterio was attacked by Joe following the match as the storyline now seemingly points towards his son and when he will step into the ring, but Mysterio will bring the United States Championship to SmackDown Live this week since it's cause for celebration, this is The Master of The 619's first Championship in WWE for seven years and 10 months, it's also his first title win since he made his return to the company last year.
