– There has been a lot of speculation about AJ Styles since his NJPW contract ran out. It is firmly believed that Styles will join the WWE in recent weeks and there have been suggestions about him making an appearance at the Royal Rumble.
AJ is a terrific performer and has been called the current best wrestler in the world by a lot of admirers. Styles is reported to come to the WWE along with his former NJPW members Shinsuke Nakamura, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson.
It was rumoured that AJ was scheduled to make an appearance at the Rumble but the plans were cancelled since the news of him coming to the WWE slipped out. At a recent indie event, Styles cut a promo which typically stated that mystery about where he will end up next. When the fans started chanting Royal Rumble, Styles gave a witty response and said that he would deliver for the fans if he was in the 30-man Battle Royale.
"I don’t deserve a thing, I don’t deserve you but I’ll tell you, if you put me in that Royal Rumble, I’ll kick some a** for you guys.”
