For every fan of pro-wrestling, there lies a soft spot for the Superstars they grew up watching. I mean let's be honest, all WWE fanatics stay awake late at night just to watch clips from the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era over and over. WWE does like to bank on the nostalgia value time and again and it does bring out the side of us that yearns for those memories 'one more time'. However, if we were to take a look at the present events, WWE seems to have overused this concept. With the current crop of Superstars, WWE needs to put a stop to it.

The prime focus of the Super Show-Down was The Undertaker vs Triple H rivalry over the years. They almost repeated the act with the reunion of DX taking on the reunion of the Brothers of Destruction at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view. Although we did enjoy watching The Undertaker vs Triple H rivalry for the 'last time', the events seemed to drag a bit too long after that. If we were to be brutally honest, while Triple H still seems to retain his skills, The Undertaker doesn't. Also, The Undertaker's character has been severely destroyed with his return to the ring over and over again.

If we were to see things in a different light, we should see that the WWE has no dearth of talent on the present roster. However, WWE not only fails to use them to their best potential but also has been severely destroying legends. If we were to take a look at the talents that the WWE has been underutilizing, the list would be just too long with Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, Andrade Cien Almas and Tye Dillinger to name a few. It is shocking that with such talent in its hands, the WWE still prefers to bring back old timers to perform in long drawn matches over and over again.

Also, if we were to look at the Universal Championship picture, we would see that the WWE still prefers having a part-timer like Brock Lesnar hold the title than have someone like Braun Strowman (who again, is extremely over with the WWE Universe) hold it. The WWE already ruined the chance of a fantastic match when they chose Roman Reigns over Bobby Lashley to face Brock Lesnar for the title. Furthermore, they are ruining Lashley's character with the one that they are offering.

It is high time that the WWE begins building on the talent that it has in its hands. And while Superstars like Seth Rollins, AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan are receiving the attention that they deserve, it is high time they look towards the other talent they have and make good use of them.
