WWE News: Aiden English speaks up about getting destroyed by The Undertaker
What's the story?
The Undertaker and Rusev faced off at the Greatest Royal Rumble in a casket match, before a packed Saudi Arabian crowd. When Aiden English, Rusev's lieutenant interfered in the match one too many times, he incurred the wrath of the Dead Man.
English went on Twitter and the WWE superstar dispelled rumours of being injured during the course of the said match. He also expressed his sheer delight at having a moment with The Undertaker, something few others can really claim.
In case you didn't know...
When The Undertaker delivered a Tombstone to Aiden English, it had seemed like his head connected with the mat. There were rumours about his health and well-being all over the internet considering he had to be helped to the back by referees. We published a piece last night about English's current status.
It seems like English was thrilled at having a chance to share a small moment with The Undertaker. Not only was he not injured, Aiden English was in the best of spirits instead.
The heart of the matter
The first part of the Tweet deals with the fact that Aiden English is fine and dandy, and will remain by Rusev's side as his trusted accomplice. English has managed to reinvent himself from a tag team superstar to a man-at-arms by Rusev's side, and it's perhaps the best role that he's ever been booked in thus far.
The second part of his Tweet discloses how the child in him was enthralled after the moment with The Undertaker. We're certain it's a memory he will carry to his grave someday.
It remains to be seen whom Rusev Day will feud with next. The Superstar Shake-Up certainly could throw up very many opponents for the awesome twosome. Could they possibly challenge for the Tag Team Championships down the line?
When The Undertaker comes forth, everyone just becomes a fan. This is a testament to the lasting legacy of the Dead Man.
We're also glad to note that English is okay.
