In case you didn't know...

During his entrance at the show, AJ Styles came out to his theme song, wearing a mask.

AJ wore a mask for his Wrestle Kingdom 10 entrance, prior to his match against Shinsuke Nakamura in 2016, although the mask he wore recently wasn't the same mask.

The heart of the matter

AJ was seen sporting a brand new mask in his entrance during the show. AJ explained in his Instagram post that he was showing the Club some love, referring to the Bullet Club fans of Japan.

Styles was part of the famed Bullet Club group, which was one of the biggest factions in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Styles was ignominiously kicked out of the Club before his departure to the WWE in 2016.

What's next?

Styles is the current US champion and will once again defend his belt against “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin on the next episode of Smackdown Live.

A Bullet Club reunion could be in the works as Gallows and Anderson have failed miserably on Raw in recent months.

Author's take

AJ Styles is one of the best wrestlers on the planet and performs exciting matches whenever he steps in the ring. It was great to see Styles come out in a mask. He should use it more during his pay-per-view entrances. Expect Styles to have some mouth-watering feuds in the upcoming weeks.

It would prove beneficial for Gallows and Anderson to align themselves with former Bullet Club leader.
