What's the story?

The coming together of former 'Bullet Club' stablemates was confirmed on Monday Night RAW with Finn Balor, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows successfully defeating the two-thirds of the Shield and Jason Jordan in the main event. However, it's not quite a full reunion until 'The Phenomenal One' AJ Styles gets involved, and he's hoping it'll happen eventually.

In case you didn't know...

Finn Balor and The Club first teased a 'Balor Club' formation of 'The Bullet Club' on the January 1st episode of RAW when they teamed together to take on the team of The Miztourage and Elias.

Luckily for the WWE Universe, this wasn't a one-off thing as the newly formed trio would appear on the following week's RAW and cement themselves the aforementioned match against Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan, as well as explain they're coming together as a stable.

The heart of the matter

One man with a vested interested in the coming together of former-'Bullet Club' members in the WWE is a former member himself, AJ Styles. Styles recently spoke to IGN.com where he discussed the 'Balor Club'

“It is what it is, I guess, as far as the way things are supposed to happen. Even though I had my own reunion with them shortly after I arrived, and its in the story, I’m not even with those guys right now. They’re on RAW and I’m on SmackDown and I’m kind of doing my own thing by myself. But those three guys being together is something special because, truth be told, those were the three guys who were originally together.”

Styles would go on to add that one day down the line he'd love to join 'The Balor Club' and cement the reunion of former 'Bullet Club' members in the WWE, something that, I'm sure, would blow the roof off of whichever arena it happened in.

"If I could look into the future or try to predict things. I’d like to think that maybe we can all be together doing something. At some point. But you never know where things are going to lead, but right now I’m very interested in what I’m seeing.”

What's next?

There are sketchy reports of Finn Balor moving over to SmackDown LIVE before Wrestlemania to eventually face 'The Phenomenal One' on the 'Grandest Stage of Them All' but until we get closer to 'Mania it looks like Balor will continue having the time of his life in the 'Balor Club' whilst Styles is set to defend his WWE Title in a Handicap match against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble.

Author's take

We've seen AJ Styles and Finn Balor 'Two Sweet' in the middle of the ring at TLC, we've seen Styles and The Club work together on SmackDown LIVE and now we've seen Finn Balor and The Club join forces on Monday Night RAW. The only thing we haven't seen is all four working together, fingers crossed!
