WWE Superstar AJ Styles recently appeared on Inside The Ropes, where he revealed that he was upset about rumours of him moving to the Raw brand during the Superstar Shakeup which took place a few weeks ago.
In case you didn’t know…
There had already been rumours doing the rounds about a possible switch to Raw for AJ Styles and the speculations increased even more with Vince McMahon announcing a Superstar Shakeup on the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw.
The following night on SmackDown Live saw AJ Styles make his way out as Shane McMahon was discussing the Shakeup and told him that he wasn’t going anywhere because this show was the house that he built.
‘The Phenomenal One’ got his wish as he remained a part of the SmackDown Live roster even after the Superstar Shakeup.
The heart of the matter
Styles claimed that he doesn’t like it when people are aware of the happenings in the business. According to him, it is their job to surprise people and not the job of others to make it known to someone else on the internet.
Here’s what the former WWE Champion had to say:
“I hate when people know whats going on with our business. It should be our business to surprise you. Not your business for someone else to read on the internet.”
AJ added that he feels upset about the fact that some people know things and said that whoever it is should keep their mouths shut about it. The 39-year was quoted as saying this:
“That actually upsets me that some people know and whoever it is in the office of the WWE, you can keep your mouth shut.”
What next?
At the upcoming SmackDown-exclusive pay-per-view, Backlash, AJ Styles will be facing off against Kevin Owens for the WWE United States Championship.

AJ Styles makes a valid point about people trying to reveal things that the WWE try to keep under the wraps. However, it is virtually impossible to put an end to rumours and one would have to live with it.
