WWE News: Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax reveal how they first met 

What's the story?

Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax are known to be best friends in the WWE locker room, even though they have had their own fair share of run-ins on WWE TV. The duo is mostly seen together on Total Divas and to promote the upcoming episodes of the E! Network show, Nia and Alexa finally opened up about their first meeting.

In case you didn't know...

Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax have been friends for the past few years and met during their time in NXT. Even though they have fought over the Raw Women's Championship on Monday Night Raw numerous times this year, it seems that the two women have remained good friends outside of the ring.

Nia and Alexa travel together from venue to venue as well and often update some of the funniest Instagram posts which made the WWE Universe aware of their friendship, to begin with.

The duo was announced as the latest addition to the cast of Total Divas for season seven of the show and have so far been able to show the WWE Universe what they get up to when they're outside of the ring.

The heart of the story

Alexa and Nia spoke to E! Online recently where they revealed how they first met and became instant friends.

Nia Jax stated,”I was extremely nervous about the tryout, so I got there early, like super duper early.” Alexa Bliss then joined the conversation and added, “Yup, she was locked out of the building and I had to let her in.” Nia continued, “She was sitting there doing her workout and she didn’t want to be bothered. But I couldn’t help but want to talk to somebody.”

Alexa continued: “So she came up and started talking my ear off. Then we started throwing jokes back and forth to each other and realized that we were going to be best friends.” Nia agreed with this stating: “Instantly we became best friends. I have such a dry humour and she totally gets me."

What's next?

Nia Jax will be part of the historic first ever Women's Royal Rumble match next month whilst Alexa will be waiting on the sidelines to see if a Raw woman wins the match and the right to face her for the Raw Women's Championship.

Alexa will be hoping to retain the title so that she can walk into her second consecutive WrestleMania with a Championship but hope that this time she can successfully defend it. Alexa is already the longest reigning Raw Women's Champion in the history of the belt and will want to further improve her stats next year.

Nia and Alexa have been friends ever since they were seen on WWE TV together and fit perfectly together because Alexa always seems as though she is in need of saving. They have been fantastic additions to the cast of Total Divas recently since they both have unique senses of humour and make the show worth watching now that The Bellas don't have such huge roles on the show anymore.
