WWE News: Alexa Bliss becomes a two-time RAW Women's Champion 

What's the story?

Alexa Bliss defeated Sasha Banks in the main event of Monday Night RAW to become two-time RAW Women's Champion.

In case you didn't know...

After becoming the #1 contender for the RAW Women's Championship, Alexa Bliss took on Bayley for the title at WWE's Payback PPV.

Bliss defeated Bayley and became the new RAW Women's Champion, making it her second title win on the main roster after the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Last week at SummerSlam, Banks won the title from Bliss, thus ending Miss Bliss's five-month title reign.

The heart of the matter

After losing her title at SummerSlam, Bliss invoked her rematch clause tonight on RAW, to take on Banks in the main event for the RAW Women's Title. Both women fought each other in an exhausting and vicious battle.

Sasha tried her best to win the match, but Bliss didn't budge. In the end, Bliss defeated Banks by pinning her after nailing her with a DDT.

Post-match, Bliss' on and off-screen best friend Nia Jax came into the ring to celebrate her title win. After indulging in the revelries for a while, Jax put Bliss on her shoulder, a customary celebration that the two have, but Jax dropped the new champion to the floor, much to the surprise of everyone.

What's next?

The two women will probably face each other at the upcoming RAW-exclusive PPV No Mercy, which is scheduled to take place on 24th September.

Sasha and Alexa had a great match tonight. Will Alexa get the same results out of Nia? Nia is a powerhouse and one of the strongest, if not the strongest women's wrestler in the roster. But what goes against her is that she's never won a WWE Women's title.
