What’s the story?
Alexa Bliss has taken to social media so as to address her fiancé Buddy Murphy’s 205 Live debut. Needless to say, Little Miss Bliss was pretty excited about Murphy’s victory in his first 205 Live match.
In case you didn’t know…
Alexa Bliss performed on the WWE’s NXT brand from 2013 and was called up to the main roster in 2016—folowing which, she went on to win both the SmackDown and RAW Women’s Championships respectively.
On the other hand, Buddy Murphy competed on NXT from 2013, until it was revealed earlier this month that he’s set to partake in the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.
The heart of the matter
Buddy Murphy made his main roster debut against Ariya Daivari in a Cruiserweight Championship Tournament matchup on this week’s edition of 205 Live (20 February 2018).
Murphy defeated Daivari and advanced to the next round of the tournament. Alexa Bliss asserted her happiness at Murphy debuting on the main roster; by initially sending out a Tweet stating “205 Live!”. However, the Tweet was later taken down.
Furthermore, Bliss addressed Murphy’s amazing debut match, stating—“The secret is out #205Live”.
What’s next?
Alexa Bliss defends her RAW Women’s Champion in the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber Match against Mickie James, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville—with the historic matchup taking place at the Elimination Chamber PPV on February 25th, 2018.
On the other hand, Buddy Murphy is set to face Mustafa Ali in the next round of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.
