What’s the story?

In a recent interview with NBC Sports, Alexa Bliss opened up about a myriad of topics including how she found herself in NXT.

Additionally, Bliss revealed that she has no qualms with not having a special stipulation to her match at TLC. Besides, the Goddess of WWE also revealed the adjustments she made to her personality while filming for Total Divas.

Alexa Bliss has been widely appreciated for the considerable amount of evolution she’s undergone, particularly with regards to her promo skills.

Speaking of which, the RAW Women’s Champion was recently added to the cast of the WWE-based E! reality show Total Divas.

The heart of the matter

Little Miss Bliss recalled her days as a valet and elucidated that she noticed herself simply hanging around like a silent spectator, following which she decided to make a few changes to her on-screen character in NXT and draw inspiration from young girls she knew, and the stereotype of the high school ‘mean girl’— a character that the reigning champion now claims to portray to a T as ‘Alexa Bliss’.

Furthermore, Bliss pointed out that she followed NXT General Manager William Regal’s advice of ‘people-watching’ — noting down people’s nuances and subtle acts at the airport and other places in order to mimic the same while in character on WWE TV.

Speaking of which, Bliss revealed that she made slight adjustments to her on-screen persona on Total Divas, and instead of acting as ‘Alexa Bliss’—the WWE Superstar—on the reality show, she’s just herself. Furthermore, Five Feet of Fury addressed the lack of stipulation to her TLC match, stating:

"I'm OK with it being a normal one-on-one (match). Of course, stipulations are always cooler and more fun, but I feel like if we were to do a stipulation match it would have to be something that was driven towards the storyline that we're doing right now. I'm talking about her being old, so it should be like a walker match."

Given the fact that Asuka is set to debut on RAW, Alexa is on a collision path with one of the best wrestlers on the planet. We could very likely be in for several showdowns like this!
