What's the story?
Alexa Bliss recently spoke to Channel Guide Magazine and revealed her thoughts on her feud with veteran Mickie James. We bring you her thoughts via Still Real to Us.
Contrary to what we see on screen, Bliss has the best opinion of James. She called her 'super sweet' and 'open to ideas'.
She also revealed that the original plot for their feud involved Bliss giving James a 'Life Alert'.
In case you didn't know...
Alexa Bliss and Mickie James were partners when they were on SmackDown Live. In the storyline, it was Bliss who brought her back to the company, to be her aide.
However, Bliss remained a heel while James became a babyface soon after. Right now, the two women are feuding on RAW, and the central theme for the storyline is that James is a grizzled veteran, far beyond her prime.
The heart of the matter
According to Bliss, James is very casual in nature and keeps the environment stress free:
Mickie is so amazing because she has so many ideas. She is a wealth of knowledge since she has been in the business for so long. She is super sweet and open to ideas. I’m looking forward to continuing our program.
She also revealed how their feud was about to begin.
We did a segment where I gave Mickie James some Depend products and a walker. My original pitch was to give her a Life Alert. It didn’t happen, but Nia ended up using a line about it in their match. That’s teamwork right there…WWE creative is amazing.
Despite the fact that the two women cannot stand each other on screen, it seems like they really like one another, behind the scenes.
What's next?
The two women compete with one another at TLC. Will it be possible for Mickie James to become the RAW Women's Champion once again, at her age? Never say never in WWE.

Kayfabe is a thing of the past and it's great to see that the women we see on screen actually work in unison for the benefit of the product. I'm a huge Alexa Bliss fan and am certain that she will set the stage on fire with James when TLC comes around.
