Alexa Bliss is great in the ring and in the video game world as well

What's the story

Alexa Bliss is the current Raw Women's Champion, therefore, she spends a lot of time on the road making towns with the Red Brand. But it turns out there is a certain accessory that Bliss would be lost without as she spoke to The Daily Star about one modern convenience she has to make sure she has before taking off.

In case you didn't know

WWE Superstars of today have it much easier than those of past generations. Not only is travel somewhat less gruelling, but the technological advances of modern-day technology really helps make the travel much more enjoyable.

Heart of the matter...

Little Miss Bliss mentioned to The Daily Star that one thing she can't leave the house without is her Nintendo Switch. It turns out she loves Nintendo's new gaming system for more than just a time-consuming activity as well because it helps her confidence as well as aides in a little bit of therapy for the first woman to ever hold both the Raw and SmackDown Women's title.

“Whenever I travel I always travel with my Nintendo Switch and I play video games against the other guys. Sometimes on charter flights I’ll play against the guys and we’ll all connect up and play video games. A lot of time it is playing Mario Kart. I always joke around saying their confidence by playing me because I am really bad at it.”

Alexa Bliss also went on to comment on how happy she is represented in the new WWE 2k18 video game for Nintendo Switch. She really enjoys the updated character as well as changing up the outcome of a match in her own little fantasy world in case reality wasn't to her liking.

“I mean, who wouldn’t want to be in a video game? It was really cool when I first saw it. I am really happy with what they have done with me and how they have updated my character. If I didn’t like the outcome of a match now I can replay it on Switch and have the outcome I wanted.”

What's next

As Alexa Bliss' career grows we can only imagine she will get plenty of time to play her Nintendo Switch. After all, she's a marquee name in the Raw Women's Division and doesn't intend on giving up her spot anytime soon.

Author's take

The Nintendo Switch really is a cool device but it's a video game system that really makes me pine for the days when Donkey Kong 64's graphics looked mind-blowing. Now people can have full-HD in the palm of their hands which is rather incredible.
