WWE News: Another dismal attendance for television taping

They've
They've seen better days

WWE has a history of selling out buildings where ever they go. Unfortunately, it seems like they've been having some trouble recently.

It might have to do with less interest in the product, rising ticket prices, or a grand combination of the two. But for whatever reason the attendance for SmackDown Live this week was less than stellar.

The San Jose crowd for Monday Night Raw this week wasn't very good and left many seats vacant. A lot of the building needed to be tarped off for television including the upper deck area.

But for SmackDown Live this week it seemed even more of the building needed to be tarped off. The Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA might have seemed like a good crowd on television but that was only because they apparently pushed the audience to one side of the building.

As you can see from these photos taken during the show the audience in the building didn't seem to fill much of the arena. You can't blame all of this on Jinder Mahal, even though it might be easy to do.

The fact might be that interest is dwindling in some areas of the country. Because they seem to do well in other markets. But whatever the issue is, let's hope WWE can fix this situation because the crowd for SmackDown Live this week didn't hold a candle to last week's Las Vegas crowd.

Then again, last week promised the Mae Young Classic Finale too.
