What's the story?

The women of WWE make history in just over two weeks time when they compete in the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match and it seems that WWE is ensuring that they include all of the talents on their main roster since former NXT superstar Dana Brooke recently announced that she would also be part of the match.

In case you didn't know...

Dana Brooke hasn't wrestled for a number of weeks since she has instead become part of Titus Worldwide alongside Apollo Crews and Titus O'Neil where she is their statistician and accompanies them to ringside for matches.

There are a number of women who have already announced that they will be part of The Royal Rumble with the likes of Michelle McCool and Molly Holly all but confirmed to be returning to the ring for the historic match.

Almost every female on the main roster has now announced that they will be part of The Rumble, but there are a number of women outside of WWE who have confirmed that they haven't been contacted about a place in the match including Awesome Kong, who was known as Kharma in WWE.

The heart of the matter

Dana Brooke took to Instagram to announce that she was the latest participant to confirm that she will be in the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match. Brooke hasn't had a lot of luck on the main roster over the past few months so it would be a turn around for her career if she can pick up a feud in the 30-woman match.

What's next?

Dana will take her place alongside 29 other women in the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match on January 28th. Right now it seems that Asuka is considered to be the favorite for the match with more than two weeks to go.

Authors take

Dana Brooke is a superstar that could have only been added to the match so that she can make the likes of Asuka and Nia Jax look strong, it is highly unlikely that Dana will be the one to win the match and go on to face the Women's Champion at WrestleMania.
