In case you didn’t know…
Asuka, whose real name is Kanako Urai, is widely regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time; earning high regard for her extensive work on the Japanese circuit.
The 36-year-old has performed for the WWE since 2015 and is set to make her main roster debut at the red brand’s TLC PPV in November of this year.
Emma earned the No. 1 contender status for the right to face Asuka at TLC, by winning the Fatal 5-Way match against Bayley, Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox on RAW.
The heart of the matter
Asuka posted a screenshot from the WWE 2K18 video game which shows her character celebrating after a victory over Emma.
"The Empress of Tomorrow" -- world renowned for her dramatic mind-games -- captioned it simply stating that she just beat Emma.
Irrespective of the fact that the duo still have a healthy period of time to wait before they duke it out in the ring, Asuka has seemingly let out a battle cry and initiated the psychological warfare against her Australian foe with the underlying spoiler to the outcome of her showdown against Emma.
Asuka competes against Emma at the RAW brand-exclusive Tables, Ladders & Chairs (TLC) PPV which goes down at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 22nd.
