On a recent edition of E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness, Bayley weighed in on a myriad of topics.
Expounding upon who she’d like to face in the WWE next, Bayley asserted that she’d love to wrestle Asuka and Natalya.
In case you didn’t know…
Bayley is a former NXT Women’s Champion and ex-RAW Women titlist as well.
However, injury issues and multiple losses in Championship matchups have lately relegated The Hugger to the mid-tier of the RAW Women’s Division.
The heart of the matter
Bayley who has been lauded by professional wrestling experts for her high-calibre technical wrestling performances with Superstars such as The Empress Of Tomorrow Asuka and Sasha Banks; stated that although she’s already had a few matches with Asuka, she’d love to wrestle more against the most dominant champion in NXT history.
Furthermore, Bayley explained that she had never really gotten the opportunity to wrestle Natalya in a match, and would love to test her skills against The Queen Of Harts.
Additionally, Bayley went on to direct considerable praise towards Natalya; lauding the latter for her elite wrestling skills.
What’s next?
Bayley presently performs for the WWE’s RAW brand. The former women's champion has time and again reiterated that she’s on her way back to the RAW Women’s Championship in the red brand’s talent-stacked Women’s Division.
Author’s take
Bayley is an excellent technician, and despite ending up on the losing end in several of her main roster matchups, she has the fortitude to rise and ascend to the top of the WWE food chain once again.
Honestly speaking, most fans would love to see Bayley engage in mat brilliance with Asuka, however, a potential feud which hasn’t been featured yet is one between Bayley and Natalya. The WWE could very well book her in a program with Nattie in the near future. Perhaps a SmackDown draft is on the cards for Bayley.
