What’s the story?
WWE Raw superstar and former Raw Women’s Champion Bayley recently spoke with Sportsday and gave her take on WWE’s newest acquisition of former UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.
In case you didn’t know…
Ronda Rousey made her much-awaited WWE debut back in January during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, where she was involved in an altercation with Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Smackdown Live Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, and the winner of the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match, Asuka.
The heart of the matter
While speaking with Sportsday, Bayley said that once Ronda Rousey is done with her current angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, then the former Raw Women’s Champion would love to be in line for a match against Rousey, sometime down the road.
Bayley additionally noted that she has been wanting to go toe-to-toe with Ronda Rousey ever since she stepped foot in the Mae Young Classic and challenged the Four Horsewomen of the WWE.
“Oh, I would love to. Once she’s done with her stuff with Stephanie and Triple H, I would love to be in line – which originally that’s what I’ve been waiting for since she stepped foot in the Mae Young Classic and basically challenged us, Four Horsewomen. So, we’re still waiting.”
What’s next?
Ronda Rousey will make her WWE in-ring debut next month at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans when she steps into the ring against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match, with Kurt Angle as her partner.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Bayley is likely to compete in the first-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal come April 8, 2018.

Being a former NXT and Raw Women's Champion, Bayley is undoubtedly one of the best competitors in the WWE today and personally, I think she and Ronda Rousey could have a pretty decent match if they ever square off in a WWE ring.
