Becky Lynch strikes first as she calls out The Four Horsewomen of UFC

What's the story?

Becky Lynch recently called out the Four Horsewomen of MMA, after the final two women of the group joined WWE, making their rumored match now something that could easily become a reality.

In case you didn't know...

All four women who were once seen as The Four Horsewomen of MMA are now working for WWE after Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir started training at the Performance Centre earlier this month.

This means that the company could potentially push forward their intended WWE vs UFC match in the near future.

The women were part of a promo backstage at the Mae Young Classic back in 2017, and it appears that the company has cooled off on pushing that Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen match over the past few months.

The heart of the matter

Becky Lynch spoke to London Tabloid BANG Showbiz yesterday and as part of the interview, the Inaugural SmackDown Women's Champion called out the Four Horsewomen of MMA.

Lynch talked about how the former MMA stars have moved over to WWE to be part of a Revolution, that they started and made an analogy using cake.

This is the first time any of the women from WWE or MMA have commented on Duke and Shafir joining the company and could be a sign of things to come.

What's next?

Becky Lynch needs to focus on the near future right now since she has recently qualified for the Money In The Bank ladder match, and is one of the only women in the match who has been part of a ladder match before.

Author's take

This match has been building for more than a year, the company has cooled off on it somewhat recently so that the women of UFC can start their training. But, it's obvious that there end goal is to have the omen of UFC vs the women of WWE as the stars of UFC continue their takeover of the wrestling business.
