WWE News: Becky Lynch has an interesting message for Finn Balor

What's the story?

The Irish are taking over the world right now. Just like Conor McGregor is currently the biggest draw in the UFC, Becky Lynch and Finn Balor have the opportunity to win gold at the Royal Rumble.

Funnily enough, yet another Irishman in Sheamus is also in a title match at the pay-per-view event. Becky Lynch sent a Tweet to Balor prior to the event.

In case you didn't know...

Becky Lynch actually learned the art of professional wrestling from Finn Balor at his school in Ireland. The two of them go way back and share a very special bond.

The two of them are on two separate brands at the moment. Currently, Becky Lynch has a chance to defeat Asuka and reclaim the SmackDown Women's Championship from her at the Royal Rumble. Balor, on the other hand, has a Universal Championship shot against Brock Lesnar.

The heart of the matter

Becky Lynch has roasted nearly everyone on Twitter ever since she transformed into 'The Man' not long ago. But because of the bond she shares with her close friend and countryman Finn Balor, she sent across the following Tweet:

It is clear that she is rooting for Balor, who goes in as the underdog against the significantly larger Brock Lesnar. This past week on RAW, Balor did manage to get some offence in against his Royal Rumble opponent but was left lying prone on the mat at the end of his segment. Most members of the WWE Universe are hoping for a title change so that RAW has a full-time champion.

What's next?
