What's the story?
We all saw Becky Lynch compete twice in the same night. We also saw her tap out to Asuka but make a valiant comeback to win the Royal Rumble match, a little later during the show.
Becky Lynch went on to make a post on Twitter shortly thereafter about her win. In doing so, she may have provided us with a potential spoiler.
In case you didn't know...
Last year, at this time, Becky Lynch was just another babyface who had the crowd on her side. During the course of 2018, Lynch underwent a sudden transformation and turned herself into 'the man'.
The new character made her the most popular character in the entire WWE Universe. Comparisons were made to Stone Cold Steve Austin and veterans like John Cena and Eric Bischoff spoke about how much they like her newfound attitude.
This momentum spurred her on to win the second-ever Women's Royal Rumble.
The heart of the matter
There has been a lot of speculation that after having accomplished everything in the industry, the women of WWE will be main eventing WrestleMania this year. Becky Lynch may have given it away with her Tweet:
While Lynch has not yet mentioned whom she will be facing, speculation indicates that she will go after Ronda Rousey, the same woman that cost her the SmackDown Women's Championship at TLC. Rumours have also indicated that Charlotte Flair may be in the WrestleMania 35 main event match.
Becky Lynch's post also alludes to the fact that the year prior 'The Irish Lass Kicker' participated in the 20-woman WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal that Naomi won.
What's next?
Expect Becky Lynch to choose Ronda Rousey as her WrestleMania opponent. It will be interesting to see who goes after Asuka next. Also, expect Charlotte Flair to make her way into the WrestleMania main event.
