WWE News: Becky Lynch receives an interesting offer from UFC superstar Conor McGregor

What's the story?

SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch has been on absolute fire in recent months and has been living up to the 'Straight Fire' moniker ever since SummerSlam of this year. Lynch, who over the course of the past few months has developed a new ruthless attitude, was recently in a very interesting exchange with UFC superstar Conor McGregor on Twitter.

In case you didn't know...

Becky Lynch won the SmackDown Live Women's Championship at this year's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view by defeating her now former-best friend Charlotte Flair in a singles match in order to become a two-time champion.

Since winning the title at HIAC, Lynch has gone on to defend her strap successfully over 'The Queen' on three different occasions and at the inaugural all women's WWE Evolution pay-per-view, Lynch and Flair competed in a grueling back-and-forth Last Woman Standing Match.

After having retained her SmackDown Women's Title in a spectacular manner at Evolution, the Irish Lasskicker eventually turned her focus towards Raw Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey, as the two women geared up for an intense singles match at Survivor Series. However, that those plans were eventually nixed after Becky Lynch had suffered a gruesome concussion after taking a brutal right-hand jab from Nia Jax on Raw.

The heart of the matter

On Thursday evening, SmackDown Live Women's Champion, Becky Lynch responded to an article from Forbes which stated that in recent months, Lynch indeed has been channeling her inner Conor McGregor due to the intense amount of hard work she has been putting in the ring and her flawless mic skills as well, something that her fellow native Irish Conor McGregor is known for.

Lynch had written on Twitter that 'The Man' apparently channels to no one and also noted the fact that her and former two-division UFC Champion, Conor McGregor bond as Irish brother and sister before threatening to break McGregor's arm, all in friendly humor though.

This eventually got the attention of 'The Notorious One' himself, who responded to Lynch by offering her a helping hand, claiming that the 'Lasskicker' can always give him a call whenever she is in need of Proper backup (Referencing to McGregor's fastest selling Proper 12 Irish Whiskey).

Further, Lynch also had yet another response to McGregor, stating that both she and the latter know exactly how carrying two different divisions feel like:

What's next?

Becky Lynch is currently dealing with a major concussion and is out on the sidelines, however, it is just a matter of time before 'The Man' once again makes her grand return to WWE TV and when she does, all hell is certainly going to break loose yet again.
