WWE News: Betting odds for AJ Styles vs Jinder Mahal's World Championship match
What's the story?
Jinder Mahal and AJ Styles are going to get their big match even sooner than most people would have ever thought. Some speculated these two would meet in a possible Royal Rumble matchup since Mahal's dance card seemed to be booked for Survivor Series.
But in a very surprising turn of events, AJ Style was granted his WWE Championship match on SmackDown Live this week when they won't be live at all. There are also some interesting betting odds from Bet Wrestling which could predict the outcome of this match.
In case you didn't know...
Betting on pro wrestling has picked up in a big way in recent years. Not only do amazing advancements in technology allow for people to bet at the speed of light. But the information super high also gives fans a better idea of what the office might be thinking.
The heart of the matter
If you are so inclined to wager on predetermined sporting events then Bet Wrestling has the odds for you.
Each competitor initially had the same odds at -120, but it seems like AJ Styles is now considered a slight favourite with 155 odds and Jinder Mahal is setting at +115.
Of course, these odds are only to determine if AJ Styles will win and have nothing to do with him actually walking out of the show as WWE Champion. Therefore Styles could pick up the win in any number of ways and still not recapture his title.
As time goes on AJ Styles will see the WWE Championship once again. It's almost a certainty at this point. Styles is an incredible competitor and deserving of another run at the top.
Does this count as AJ Styles' WWE Championship rematch that he never really got when he lost the title to John Cena at SummerSlam? Let's just say it does so all of this makes even more sense.
