What's the story?

PWInsider reported that there was a funny incident backstage at Bound for Glory, between Bobby Lashley and an unnamed X-Division star. Apparently, an X-Division talent complained about the food at catering in front of Lashley. Lashley reportedly replied in a blunt and 'funny' manner, which was approved off by the more established talent backstage.

In case you didn't know....

A Four-Time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Lashley is known for his time with Impact Wrestling as well as with WWE. He is an established veteran in the sport of professional wrestling, and also an expert in MMA.

Bound for Glory took place on the 5th of November in Ottawa, Ontario. It was the thirteenth Bound for Glory event and was the last pay-per-view for Impact Wrestling to take place in 2017.

It also saw Gail Kim wrestle her final match before retirement from in-ring wrestling.

The heart of the matter

Bobby Lashley was involved in an extremely funny back-and-forth incident backstage, at the 'Bound for Glory' pay-per-view. He was at catering when an unnamed X-Division talent complained about the food that was available. Lashley did not take too well to the grumbling and reportedly shut the wrestler up.

He snapped at the person and said that his career was way too short for him to comment on the quality of the food. He also told the talent to buy his own food instead of complaining about what food catering had provided.

The incident was approved off by the more established talent who were present backstage. The response was thought to be blunt and funny.

What's next?

Bobby Lashley is set to continue his feud with Moose over the next few episodes of Impact.

Author's take

Such incidents are not uncommon backstage, with the senior wrestling talent often doing what is needed to hold the junior and newer talent in line. It is considered to be part of the experience that they need to grow.
