WWE News: Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss almost kissed after SmackDown

What's the story?

Last night's Mixed Match Challenge after SmackDown ended with a surprise for many fans as Alexa and Braun Strowman almost kissed on camera.

The team had just finished their match with Awe-ska (the Miz and Asuka) which ended in defeat for Bliss and Strowman. Behind the scenes footage of the two talking about their loss shows Braun going in for a kiss with Alexa before being interrupted by one of Alexa's fans.

In case you didn't know...

Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman formed an unlikely duo recently to take on The Miz and Asuka in a Mixed Match Challenge after SmackDown Live.

The two seem to have grown closer in the weeks leading up to yesterday's match, as was evident from Braun Strowman leaning in for a kiss towards Alexa while the cameras were rolling.

The heart of the matter

As you can see in the video above, Braun and Alexa are mid-interview after their match when Strowman looks at Bliss and the two lock eyes before the Monster Among Men leans in towards his tag team partner, evidently for a kiss.

They were interrupted by a rude fan, however, before the two could lock lips on camera.

What's next?

The Bliss-Strowman team seems to be getting stronger and we should expect to see the team face Awe-ska again soon enough, and maybe if there's enough excitement about it, they'll even get their own WrestleMania segment.

Author's take

Bliss and Strowman are an unlikely team of Superstars to be in a team but that didn't stop them from finding kayfabe love. Let's hope this storyline works out well for both the Superstars in the long run.
