WWE News: Braun Strowman comments on becoming the #1 contender to the Raw Tag Team Titles 

What’s the story?

Earlier today, Braun Strowman tweeted out via his official Twitter handle and commented on becoming the new and solo #1 contender to the Raw Tag Team Titles, on this past edition of Monday Night Raw.

In case you didn’t know…

As noted on this week’s episode of Raw, “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman entered the Raw Tag Team Title #1 contender Battle Royal match without a partner and single-handedly eliminated the entire Raw Tag Team division to become the new #1 contender for the Raw Tag Team Titles and book his spot at WrestleMania 34.

The heart of the matter

After his historic win on Raw, earlier in the day, Braun Strowman took it to social media and wrote in a latest tweet he is far more superior than any tag team in the WWE and, claimed that none of the tag teams in the current roster can handle the wrath of “The Monster Among Men”.

Furthermore, Strowman stated that the Raw Tag Team Titles will indeed look good in each of his giant shoulders and somewhat indicated towards the fact that he is rather planning on going solo at WrestleMania 34, instead of finding a Tag Team partner for himself as he prepares to square off against the powerful duo of Sheamus and Cesaro in New Orleans, later next month.

What’s next?

Apparently, the current plan for Strowman is to challenge The Bar in a handicap match at WrestleMania, however, the second possible option is him being joined Elias to make it a tag team match.

Author’s Take

I believe that the WWE will eventually pair up Strowman with a tag team partner at ‘Mania 34 and make it a Tag Team match against Cesaro and Sheamus. Personally, I would love to see Strowman team up and reunite with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 34 and capture the Raw Tag Team Titles.
