WWE News: Braun Strowman comments on his favourite part of being a WWE Superstar

What's the story?

Braun Strowman was recently a guest on ESPN Radio's J&J Show, talking about a variety of topics including his favourite part of being a Superstar.

Strowman mentioned that he is the total opposite of his character in real life and that he is extremely friendly especially when it comes to kids.

In case you didn't know...

Adam Joseph Scherr, better known as Braun Strowman made his debut for the WWE in 2015 as a part of the Wyatt Family. He remained a henchman for Bray Wyatt up until the 2016 draft when he was drafted to RAW and Bray went to Smackdown.

Braun then went on an undefeated streak before being embroiled in a bitter rivalry with Roman Reigns which saw the two collide on multiple occasions including an extremely violent Ambulance Match this past year.

The heart of the matter...

Braun Strowman has the monicker "Monster Among Men", but it looks like in real-life he is far from being a monster. In fact, he stated that his favourite part of being a WWE Superstar is interacting with the younger fanbase.

He states that giving kids high-fives and handshakes is the best part of his job as it leaves a lasting impression on these children.

When it comes to the kids, I always have time for them. Literally, that is my favorite part about being a WWE superstar is the influence that we get to [have] with the little ones. Just seeing their faces, walking around the arena now that, per se, I’m more liked by the crowd and almost a good guy. Just on my way out of the ring high-fiving the kids, just the looks on their face. I mean, it’s really, really special. There’s so many opportunities to open a kid’s eyes and show them a window of things that they’re not used to seeing

What's next?

Braun is all set to face Brock Lesnar and Kane at Royal Rumble on 27th January for the Universal Championship.

The phrase "Looks can be deceiving" is absolutely true in the case of Braun Strowman. He may look intimidating but he is one of the nicest people in the world of wrestling today.

2018 will be a huge year for this behemoth and I hope that he becomes World Champion by the end of this year.
