WWE News: Braun Strowman destroyed during WWE TLC
Did 'The Monster Among Men' just turn face?
What's the story?
In one of the most turbulent TLC matches in WWE history, Braun Strowman was literally obliterated. But it wasn't The Shield or Kurt Angle who took 'The Monster Among Men' out of action, it was his own teammates Kane, The Miz and The Bar with the help of a garbage truck.
In case you didn't know...
The main event of WWE TLC 2017 was supposed to be the big in-ring return of the Shield with the trio facing almost insurmountable odds against The Miz, The Bar, Braun Strowman and Kane. However, Roman Reigns was replaced by Raw General Manager Kurt Angle due to illness.
The heart of the matter
Things started going south for Braun Strowman when he reacted badly to Kane accidentally hitting him with a chair, shoving the 'Big Red Monster; to the mat. Later on, in the match, Kane turned on Strowman, Chokeslamming him through the stage and then burying him under a mountain of chairs.
Strowman wasn't finished with the main event yet though as he somehow managed to get back to his feet and made a bee-line for Kane, demolishing the rest of his teammates to get to him. Strowman's four teammates then worked together to stop him from derailing the match eventually trapping the big man inside of a garbage truck.
Strowman turning on The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro and Kane was a defining moment in the gruelling TLC match and could be one that indicates a change of allegiances for 'The Monster Among Men'
It remains to be seen if Strowman getting crushed in a garbage truck will keep him away from television for a while, but if it doesn't it's possible that he'll return as a face, and is extremely likely to feud with Kane whilst 'The Big Red Machine' is still here.
I will never forget the day I saw The Miz and company murder Braun Strowman at TLC 2017. But I would not be surprised to see Strowman back soon after all Roman Reigns already tried to kill him with vehicular manslaughter and he walked away from that.
