What's the story?
During a recent interview with Metro, WWE Raw superstar Braun Strowman revealed that his dream opponent is AJ Styles.

Braun Strowman is currently one of the hottest superstars on the WWE roster today and has been on a roll ever since he broke out from The Wyatt Family. "
The Monster Among Men" has given the WWE fans some of the most memorable feuds and moments in recent WWE history and his rivalry against current Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns truly remains as one of the highlights of the 34-year-old's career.
Earlier in the year, Strowman also challenged Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship but, despite a hard-fought effort, he failed to capture his first World Title in the WWE as he fell short against "The Beast" at No Mercy 2017.
The heart of the matter
During his interview with Metro, Strowman claimed that if there is anyone who he would like to step into the ring with, then it is current WWE Champion AJ Styles with whom he would like to have a singles match.
“AJ Styles is definitely someone I’d like to get in and have a singles match with. Other than that, there’s not a whole lot of guys I haven’t worked with yet.”- Strowman stated.
What's next?
As noted on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, it seems like Braun Strowman is back in his quest to become the WWE Universal Champion and might challenge "The Beast" to another match at next year's Royal Rumble PPV.
Author's take
Styles and Strowman have previously crossed paths during the 2016 Survivor Series traditional tag team match but, personally, I would love to see the two men in a singles match in the near future.
